Handpicked 2014 Bridal Event

It was truly an honor to be picked to participate in the Styling Suite at this year's Handpicked 2014 – A Different Kind of Bridal Event. This bridal show was a completely unique experience, bringing inspirational wedding trends found on Pinterest and well-known wedding blogs right here to the Midwest!

This fabulous affair featured amazing decor, unconventional event design and sophisticated style. Outside, guests perused the barn and tent area as if they were participating in a wedding reception complete with food vendors, delicate table settings and lush floral arrangements. Inside, brides were able to try on some of the latest trends in bridal fashion.

The Styling Suite brought the exciting experience of bridal shopping all in one place. It is always a pleasure to meet brides face-to-face, answer any questions they have about wearing a Spanish mantillas and, of course, helping them try on the different styles I carry! It was also huge compliment to work side-by-side with such talented local vendors within the industry. Among us in the Styling Suite were SusieKays who makes stunning bridal bouquets and jewelry out of vintage broaches and pins and Something White who's bridal dresses will make you want to re-marry just to wear one of their many stunning gowns. Providing the ambiance and entertainment was Good Vibrations who enhanced the atmosphere with the most perfect soundtrack and kept vendors and brides engaged with their interactive photo booth and silly props!
